Made some progress with the vintage iMac G4 from 2004 era of personal computing.
For ministry work, I am able to:
1. Access and maintain most website work for the Laptop Ministry from spreadsheets to designing and printing fliers (LibreOffice.)
2. Setup folders for accessing / sharing files remotly using peer to peer torrenting.
3. Edit and develop websites using FileZilla (SFTP) and a notepad++ like editor for old world OS/X.
4. Editing Sermon's from our Zoom host recordings using MovieStrip with in and out specification (like losslesscut.)
5. iMovie for more specific editing and effects.
6. Burn for burning videos to DVD.
7. Audacity for editing audio.
8. VNC for remote access desktop to and from the iMac.
9. VLC player (VideoLAN) for playing all video formats including DVD images before they get burned to disc for testing.
10. Bluetooth File Transfer.
11. Graphic manipulation (GIMP)
12. Playing music (iTunes)
Many of these tools were found off archive.org after exhausting searches for other places to get them as many of these PPC versions (PowerPC) for OS/X are no longer listed anywhere (not even from the software providers.) They are just too old.
But they still work!
